This is Your Brain on Cross Examination

Lesson Purpose: This course explores the chemical reaction that takes place in your brain when you are confronted with directive leading questions.  Learning to understand and recognize when this is happening will help you keep your emotions and stress levels in check.

Training Objectives: At the end of this block of instruction, the student will be able to achieve the following objectives:

1. Have a working knowledge of the affect of directive leading questions have on the brain during cross examination.

2. Understand and recognize two of the prevalent manners in which these affects manifest themselves in a witness during cross examination.

3. Develop methods to negate those negative stressful affects during cross examination.
